What's Happening

The Ralston Valley Coalition has been following the city staff's proposed amendments to the Land Development Code since September of 2021 through numerous council workshops and the planning commission.  RVC has concerns on the proposed changes related to truck definitions and trips as we believe the changes will further industrialize Arvada and could allow higher industrial uses in light industry zoning.  RVC has asked questions and to date no one has answered the important questions to give citizens the info showing justification why the LDC changes are needed at this time.  RVC will present our concerns at the upcoming council meeting and we need citizen support to help us protect our communities. Please donate to RVC, read up on the proposed changes and plan to attend the City Council Meeting at City Hall located at 8101 Ralston Road on September. 19, 2022 at 6:00pm.

Join us as we do our spring cleanup of Maple Valley and Shadow Mountain Parks!  After the cleanup we will gather for a lunch and park dedication of the recently acquired parcel at 68th & Eldridge that is now part of Shadow Mountain Park.  Families Welcome!
