A Community Rights Organization

The City Council vote on October 21, 2025 reversed the 6-1 NO Vote from last year (Nov 2024) and gave the developer a 7-0 YES Vote to move forward to a site development plan for putting 355 RV's at 6800 Kilmer. Aligning the Comp Plan to the Land Development Code does not take away the fact that this site is a former unregulated landfill that has contaminated the Croke Canal and Ralston Creek in the past and will continue to contaminate adjacent waterways if development is allowed without proper mitigation.
Check out this story by Karen Morfitt from CBS on why the community is so concerned about this development and see what you can do to help us stop incompatible development near our homes and the Ralston Creek Trail:
The City Council vote on August 19th approved the package of 67 LDC Amendments that were proposed by city staff. The city council agreed to revisit the Psilocybin Mushroom law and put some guidelines around that to address the community concerns. Please sign this petition encouraging Arvada city council to put time, place and manner guidelines in place PRIOR to allowing Psilocybin Mushroom businesses in Arvada.
